Gospel Communities (GoCo's) are at the heart of discipleship at Northside Community. Jesus modeled for us that discipleship best takes place in the context of relationships. GoCo's are groups of 10-30 people who are learning how to live out the Gospel of Jesus together. GoCo's meet on a weekly basis doing three primary things together:
1. Encounter Christ (Up)
We believe Christ wants all people to have a real, personal, encounter with Him. In Gospel Communities, we pray together, read Scripture together, and worship together in order that we might not just know about Jesus, but know him experientially in our lives.
2. Experience Community (In)
We believe Jesus called the Church to be a place where all can find a place to belong - to love and to be loved. In Gospel Communities, we share meals together, pray for one another and encourage each other, laughing together as much as we can.
3. Engage Culture (Out)
We believe Jesus calls the Church to be on the go, taking the Gospel outside the four walls of a church. In Gospel Communities, we serve our city together, looking for ways to bless and care for those God has put in our lives.
We currently have two Gospel Communities that meet weekly:
- Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30pm.
- Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30pm.
Come at 5:30pm for a shared meal together (don't bring a thing, we've got it covered!) and stay for a discussion on the Bible, prayer, and a time to connect with each other.
Because Gospel Communities often change week to week in location and activity, please contact Derek at firstname.lastname@example.org or (608) 385-6116 for time and location for a specific night.
