We believe that the Church is the people of God who gather for worship and scatter for mission. More than simply a once-a-week event, Jesus invites us to follow him into the everyday things of life. In that sense, nothing has changed in the midst of COVID-19. God hasn’t changed. His plans haven’t changed. Jesus’ desire to seek and save the lost hasn’t change. And the mission of the Church hasn’t changed. Circumstances have certainly changed – they always will. But the glory of God and the mission of the Church never will.
While we know that there are many different opinions that span the spectrum of ideas and feelings, our goal is simple: to worship together again as a Church family in a way that is loving to all, wise toward outsiders, thoughtful in being a part of managing the curve, and faithful to our King.
We are currently posting recorded services on our YouTube Channel that can be watched every Sunday morning at 9am. We currently have various Gospel Communities that are continuing to meet throughout the week using platforms like Zoom and/or practicing safer distancing measures.
Weather permitting, we’re planning to have a socially distanced Curbside Worship gathering the first Sunday of the month at 10am, in the back parking lot of The Building. Bring your own chair and Bible. The service will be recorded live via Facebook and YouTube for those that can’t make it or prefer to stay at home.
We will continue our prerecorded online worship services the other three weeks of the month at 9am as we have been doing the past two months.
Please check our Facebook page for further updates. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me (email@example.com). We look forward to worshiping together again as the body of Christ!
