We believe that children and youth are a vital aspect to God’s family and are not just the Church of the future, but also part of the Church today. Being a Church that values discipleship, we believe that our children best learn how to follow Jesus in the context of community and living life together (just like their parents). We want our children with the whole Church as much as possible. This means that we often have a children’s message on Sunday mornings, plan our Church gatherings around the needs of the youngest among us, and are patient with our kids as they ask questions or get squirrely,
We also believe that parents are the primary disciple makers of their children. The Church’s role is to come alongside to encourage and equip parents to raise their children in a way that models and teaches a life submitted to King Jesus.
Because of this, we don’t have a separate children’s ministry. During Gospel Communities, children have their own time of learning and connecting together.
Our youth meet twice per month as their own Gospel Community in which they are learning to go Up in Christ, In with each other, and Out with those that don’t yet know Jesus.
